To us, the home embodies the more than century-long debate that is at the heart of the story: What is the nature of the world? And is there another world beyond our own? People who visit the Roff Home fall on all sides of this debate, from those who believe that it was an elaborate hoax to those who see it as evidence of greater forces working in the world. Of course, others come to see the home to experience the history of the Watseka Wonder and lives of the many other interesting people who lived here since the Roffs and Lurancy Vennum.
